This is not a hotel, it is a B&B. We needed somewhere to stay close to murrayfield, which is only 5 mins walk away. Bed ok, fairly clean, but TV didn't work and the breakfast is very limited.
Top Tip
Close to murrayfield

No where to sit outside. The seats where breakfast is served are very low and difficult for older people to get in and out.
Top Tip
Very close to Murrayfield stadium so ideal location for events being held there.

the raj seems to have had a lot of bad press but- you get what you pay for.good basic accomodation- our room was a good size clean and tidy(the Rajpoor on the ground floor).
continental breakfast was very basic but as a base to explore edinburgh it is good value. There might be a problem in high season getting breakfast because the dining room could only accomodate about 12 at a time.so if everyone arrived at the same time there would be a bit of a queue- so you would be better offf walking 5 mins down the road to starbucks or one of the other cafes.

Very nice, clean, comfortable hotel. Only real criticism, a wider choice for breakfast would have been appreciated, along with another toaster!!
Top Tip
Bus stops right outside hotel - £1 takes you right in to centre of Edinburgh. Shuttle from Airport stops right outside hotel too
