| The hotel has two bars, both in the basement and leading out to the back of the hotel, where there is a small but nice terrace. The lounge bar is huge, attached to the restaurant, and offers plenty of space to relax with a drink. There are two internet terminals in the bar area for the use of those guests who cannot take advantage of the wi-fi service. The public bar, “The Granary,” is very popular with local residents and has both international rugby and Scottish cricket memorabilia adorning the walls. The bar can be accessed from either the exterior door or through the restaurant and lounge bar. A lively night can be expected in the Granary and during large sporting events the bar will often be full. |  |
| Car parking at this hotel is free of charge and is strictly on a first come first served basis. Altogether there are about 46 spaces, some in the basement of the hotel, undercover, and some outside and to the rear. |
| The Brasserie restaurant offers nice views as well as excellent cuisine and is also used at breakfast time for the large self service buffet. |
